The Sports Altimeter SILVA ALTA is a precision altimeter developed for you who are a multisport-competitior, skiier, alpinist, hiker, bicyclist or athlete and want to measure changes in altitude with a resolution as accurate as 1 meter (3 feet). When developing the SILVA ALTA big emphasis was put in ease of use and mecanical design making it both user-friendly and to withstand the tough conditions where it should be used.

ACCURACY
- The heart of the SILVA ALTA is a new, highly-sensitive pressure sensor developed in Switzerland which is capable of measuring altitude variation down to an accuracy of 1 meter (3 feet)

FUNCTIONALITY
- Feature-packed and intuitive. The SILVA ALTAs primary functions are found in three easy-access windows. The first window is a full-featured wristwatch that shows time of day, date and day of the week along with a 24-hour alarm. The second window displays cumulative altitude, number of downhill runs and rate of ascent or descent. The third window displays current altitude along with a 34-lap chronograph accurate to o.1 second

USABILITY
- Programming the SILVA ALTA couldn’t be simpler. The patented online Help Window, accessible from the "?" key, guides you through every step using the Words and Arrows (pat.pend) menu interface. We’ll give you a manual, but you probably won’t need it.
